FAQ

How Do We Start?

Drop me a call or an email and I will arrange a free meet and greet to visit you and your pet.

If you are then happy to go ahead we will go through the relevant paperwork etc.

Will my Dog be OK?

I walk 4 dogs at a time (unless you have booked an individual walk). All dogs are walked on the lead until they have bonded with me and only then will I discuss with you whether you are happy for them to be off lead.

When permission is received in writing, I will then use training leads for the first few times they are let off.

I will also send you updates via text, whatsapp, facebook etc so you can see your dog having fun!

What does my Dog need?

Your dog  must have a dog tag and a micro chip. They must also be fully up to date with vaccinations, worm and flea treatments.

I will provide doggy bags, leads, fresh water, snacks (only if permitted!) and a good rub down when they get muddy and/or wet.

Are you Insured?

Yes, I am fully insured for dog walking and pet sitting/visits.

I am  also accredited with NARPS UK.

How do you collect my Dog?

I will need a spare set of keys.

As mentioned before I am DBS checked and insured for your piece of mind.

Where do you Walk the Dogs?

There are a great many great walks in the Walsall area that include fun places such as Park Lime Pits, Oily Gough Nature Reserve, Barr Beacon and Rough Wood Nature Reserve to name a few.

Further Information

In the unlikely event of a emergency I recommend that pet owners provide me with contact details of a trusted 3rd party, this is especially important when going overseas.

Please be aware that I reserve the right to make decisions about your pets health in an emergency if I cannot contact you. KEEPING YOUR PET SAFE IS MY ABSOLUTE PRIORITY.

Barks and will provide a free, no obligation meeting with you and your loved pet, during which we can discuss your pet's individual requirements.

If you wish to then use the service, I will complete a pet sheet regarding any allergies, specific requirements etc.

I will always strive to be at your home as close to the agreed time for your booking as possible. However, from time to time unforeseen problems such as road traffic delays can occur. Please note that this would not affect your pet's time with me. I will ensure that they still receive the full amount of time, and/or service booked. All arrival times are approximate as the business is fluid and the workload changes from day to day. I will keep you informed.

Dogs will be walked in all weather conditions where possible and I will apply personal judgement as to whether a walk needs to be cut short due to adverse weather that could cause a risk of harm.
